Faridpur, The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) implemented the Saudi Noor Volunteer Project to combat blindness and the diseases that cause it in the city of Faridpur in the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, during the period from May 30 to June 6, 2024, in cooperation with the Al Basar International Foundation.
Since the start of the campaign, the center’s volunteer medical team has examined 5,632 individuals, dispensed 1,652 medical glasses, and performed 195 specialized surgical operations, in addition to distributing 5,556 medicine boxes.
These efforts come as an extension of the voluntary medical projects related to combating blindness and the diseases that cause it, provided by the Kingdom, through its humanitarian arm, the KSrelief, to help patients and people suffering from eye diseases in countries and peoples in need around the world.
