The Administrative Court rejected the appeal lodged by the Independent High Authority for Elections (ISIE) against a ruling on the Menzel Chaker constituency (governorate of Sfax). The court's ruling, which was challenged by the ISIE, provides for the annulment of the ISIE's decision in the Menzel Chaker constituency, Menzel Chaker delegation, governorate of Sfax. Referred to the second phase of disputes regarding the preliminary results of the 2023 run-off local elections, the Administrative Court's General Assembly ruled on Tuesday on the outcome of this case, according to a court press release. The ruling is final and may not, under any circumstances, be appealed, in accordance with the provisions of the electoral law, the press release specifies. The ISIE will hold a press conference in Tunis on Tuesday evening to announce the final results of the 2023 run-off local elections and the composition of the local councils.
