Candidates for the local elections run-off Hamza Hamza and Zoubeir Bouteraa in the locality of Aamiret El Fhoul in Moknine, Monastir governorate, have begun their electoral campaign. They had garnered 329 and 260 votes respectively in the first round. Candidate Hamza Hamza, a 58 year-old retired university professor, pledges to establish a new development model tailored to the economic, social, cultural, and environmental specificities of the region. His programme includes promoting the agricultural sector, enhancing the integration of female workers into the social solidarity economy, and improving local services. On the other hand, candidate Zoubeir Bouteraa, a 27 year-old student, commits to strengthening electricity grid connections, providing public transportation to the villages of El Graoua and Sghirat, ensuring water supply to irrigated areas, and working to streamline access procedures for young people to obtain loans to carry out projects.
