Man allegedly commit suicide at Keetmanshoop

A 24 - year - old man allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself with an electrical cord in Keetmanshoop on Saturday morning . The Namibian Police Force ' s Crime Investigations Coordinator for the || Kharas region , Deputy Commissioner Nikodemus Mbango , told Nampa on Sunday that the deceased was identified as Carlos Ricket . The alleged suicide took place between 04h00 and 06h00 on Saturday in the Lemondraai residential area of the southern town . Ricket ' s lifeless body was found hanging by an electrical cord by his brother . It is further alleged that the deceased had attempted suicide in the days leading up to Saturday . Ricket allegedly also told his friends that it would be his last day on earth as he intended to commit suicide . He left no suicide note . Meanwhile , a 23 - year - old man identified as Bernoldus Both allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself with a rope in Aroab on Friday . It is alleged that the deceased had a conversation with his relatives regarding a fight he had with me mbers of the " 26 " gang on Thursday night at the village . On Friday morning , at around 06h40 , Both ' s body was discovered by his mother in his bedroom . ' The mother informed the police , and together with a registered nurse , they attended the scene . The nurse declared Both dead at the scene . No suicide note was left ,' added Mbango . The next of kin of both deceased persons have been informed of their deaths . Source: The Namibia News Agency
