WINDHOEK: A 52 - year - old man allegedly shot himself at Uuthikilo village near Ondangwa on Friday . A crime report issued by the Namibian Police Force ( NamPol ) on Sunday indicated that Leonard Kalimbo reportedly shot himself through the chin with a shotgun in his room . ' He died on the spot and no suicide note was left behind . No foul play is suspected ,' the crime report said . In an unrelated incident , the lifeless body of a two - month - old baby girl was discovered by her mother in the early hours of Friday in the DRC informal settlement at Swakopmund . ' It is alleged that the mother left the infant alone in the room and found her deceased upon her return at 02h11 in the morning after she had gone to the neighbours for alcohol ,' the crime report said .
