OSHAKATI: A 32-year-old man has been arrested after he was found in possession of cannabis worth N.dollars 207 000. Namibian Police Force (NamPol)'s Oshana Head of Community Policing, Chief Inspector Thomas Aiyambo, said the suspect was arrested at Oshakati West on Monday afternoon. 'Information was received that at a certain house at Oshakati West there is a suspect dealing in cannabis. The operation was conducted and upon searching, a total four parcels of cannabis was found in the sleeping room of the suspect,' he said. Aiyambo indicated that the cannabis confiscated weighed 4.14kg valued at N.dollars 207 000. The suspect was also found with N.dollars 3 430 in cash. The suspect is set to appear at the Oshakati Magistrate's Court on Wednesday. Police investigations into the matter continue. Source: The Namibia Press Agency
