Man dies in accident near Kombat

Kombat: A 42 - year - old man died instantly on Sunday after the Nissan Navara double cab he was driving overturned several times northeast of Kombat in the Otavi Constituency of the Otjozondjupa region . Namibian Police Force ( NamPol ) head of community affairs in the Otjozondjupa Region , Senior Inspector Maureen Mbeha informed Nampa on Monday that the deceased was identified as Justus Murongoritha Sheehamandje from Tsumeb , a mining contractor at Kombat . His next of kin was informed of his death . According to Mbeha , the accident occurred at about 15h23 on Sunday afternoon on the B8 road , when the deceased who was coming from the direction of Grootfontein lost control of the vehicle and overturned at approximately three kilometres to Kombat . " His vehicle rolled several times before coming to a halt and Sheehamandje was ejected from the vehicle , killing him instantly ," said Mbeha . Another male occupant who was a passenger in the same vehicle sustained serious injuries and was taken to the Grootfont ein State Hospital on the same day , she said .
