Tunis: Secretary of State to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad, Mounir Ben Rjiba and, CEO of the Export Promotion Centre (CEPEX), Mourad Ben Hassine agreed during a working meeting on Monday to amend the framework agreement signed between the two parties in 2016. The amendment will allow the implementation of promotion programmes under the best conditions and improve communication to serve the national export guidelines, the ministry said in a statement. During the meeting, the secretary of state stressed the need to strengthen coordination between the ministry and national economic support structures in order to unify efforts and use available resources to boost economic diplomacy and further promote the country's exports and Tunisia as a destination. He stressed the importance of activating and amending the joint cooperation mechanisms in order to make them more flexible and efficient and to overcome the problems hindering their implementation. The meeting was attended by o fficials from the General Directorate of Economic and Cultural Diplomacy at the Ministry and the Director of International Cooperation at the Export Promotion Centre.
