Mrabet commended the WHO Academy's role in training healthcare workers, voicing Tunisia's support for its programme and goals as they meet the needs of healthcare training in different countries based on new IT. Mrabet also met with Co-chair of the Intergovernmental Negotiating Body (INB) to draft and negotiate a WHO convention, agreement or other international instrument on pandemic prevention, preparedness and response Precious Matsoso. The talk helped discuss the progress made in talks on this convention and options submitted to the World Health Assembly to move ahead with the process.
