There is still much to be done to achieve the 4th Sustainable Development Goal (SDG4) on access to quality education, notably with regard to planning, funding, infrastructure, curricula, governance, training and digital transition, Education Minister Mohamed Ali Boughdiri said on Tuesday. Speaking at the closing works of the High-level Maghreb Regional Meeting on Digital Transformation of Education for Implementation of SDG4, the minister called to set up a digital platform, financed by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO), to share successful experiences in digital transformation in service of development, reads a ministry press release. He further pointed to the importance of political and technical dialogue on digital transformation in the education sector, underlining the need to provide information about the tools set up by the UNESCO and its partners in this field.
