Candidates Hend Erraboudi and Jalel Souissi from the El Fehri locality in the Dar Chaabane El Fehri delegation (Nabeul governorate) are competing in the run-off local elections. Hend Erraboudi received 231 votes and Jalel Souissi obtained 220 votes in the first round. Candidate Hend Erraboudi (30, professor of taxation) told TAP that if she wins, she will work to promote employment for university graduates and the creation of projects by young people. She also promises to boost local development by relaunching stalled projects and modernising public institutions, tackling coastal pollution and speeding up road improvements. For his part, candidate Jalel Souissi (63, retired) is proposing a programme to encourage investment, youth entrepreneurship, the development of cultural and sports facilities and promoting local development. Five constituencies are involved in the run-off in Nabeul 1: El Fehri, El Frinin, Amroun, Dar Chaabane 1 and Dar Chaabane 2. Source: Agence Tunis Afrique Presse
