Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad Nabil Ammar met on Friday in Monaco with MedFund Executive Director Romain Renoux and Scientific Director at the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation Philippe Mondielli. Renoux and Mondielli overviewed their institutions' activities in the Mediterranean, particularly in Tunisia, reads a Foreign Ministry press release. They discussed with Ammar the prospects and ways to step up their actions in Tunisia. MedFund's Renoux commended the exemplary cooperation with Tunisia, considering that it could serve as a model in the Mediterranean region. Nabil Ammar commended for his part, the important role played by these institutions in protecting the environment and biodiversity and in preserving the Mediterranan basin marine areas, pinpointing the Tunisian authorities' willingness to further scale up cooperation with Monaco.
