The national handball team will take part in the Qualifying Tournament (March 14-17) for the 2024 Paris Olympics, as part of Group C, alongside Norway, Hungary, and Portugal.
Group A includes Spain, Slovenia, Bahrain and Brazil, while Group B features Germany, Croatia, Algeria and Austria.
The the top two finishers in each TQO qualify for the Olympic Games.
The national seven ranked 3rd in the Africa Cup of Nations, hosted by Egypt, January 17-27, with Egypt in the lead and Algeria second.
