Tunis: The number of Tunisian skilled workers recruited overseas as part of technical cooperation reached 966 up to April 2024. The paramedical sector was in the lead with 375 paramedics recruited overseas, data published by the Tunisian Agency for Technical Cooperation (ATCT) show. As such, the overall number of Tunisian hirees overseas reached 25,663, with the education sector having the highest number (9,372), followed by the health sector (8,109). Canada was the top destination for Tunisian skills, with 210 recruits, followed by Germany (203) and Gulf, European and African countries. Source: Agence Tunis Afrique Presse
