Okakarara trade fair to commence Monday

The business activities of the Okakarara Annual Trade Fair in the Otjozondjupa Region is set to commence on Monday morning at the Okakarara Trade Fair Centre . Organising committee member of the event , Golden Katjatako in an interview with Nampa on Sunday said the Okakarara Town Council is the custodian of the trade fair which is scheduled to take place from 02 - 08 September 2024 at Okakarara . Katjatako stated that a total of 40 major Namibian companies have registered to participate , as well as 25 small and medium enterprises ( SMEs ) and 10 local businesses for the kapana meat delicacy . ' We still have a big space for the local kapana businesses , as our 2024 theme is Transformative and Sustainable Innovation of SMEs on National Resources ,' said Katjatako . President Nangolo Mbumba is the Patron of the Okakarara Trade Fair , and is expected to officially open its business activities on 05 September 2024 , he said .
