The police in the Oshikoto Region are investigating the theft of a Toyota Hilux single cab pick-up from a private residence in Oniipa. Deputy Commissioner Titus Ekandjo, the Namibian Police Force's Crime Investigations Coordinator for the region, told Nampa the incident occurred around 07h00 on Thursday in the Okakwiyu residential area. 'It is alleged that suspects entered the complainant's yard and stole the vehicle,' Ekandjo said. The stolen vehicle is a white Toyota Hilux 4x4 with registration number N 310105 SH. It has an estimated value of N.dollars 140 000. No arrests have been made and the suspects remain unidentified. Police found only two shoe prints at the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
