Madinah: The General Authority for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque continues to provide Zamzam water for visitors to the Prophet’s Mosque, with over 17,000 tons consumed during the first quarter of 2024. The authority ensures all tools related to providing Zamzam water are clean and ready for use throughout the Prophet’s Mosque.

It oversees the filling of containers with Zamzam water, manages distribution points, and supervises the cleanliness of the carts used for transporting the containers. Additionally, the authority conducts rigorous safety checks by taking random samples, with 2,074 samples tested in its laboratory to ensure the water’s safety.
