Parliament resumes its activities next Tuesday

The Assembly of People’s Representatives (ARP) will resume its activities on Tuesday. The plenary sessions will be devoted to the examination and vote of the draft rules of procedure of the parliament, reads a statement on Saturday. After examining a series of proposed amendments, the deputies have adopted 12 articles of the draft rules of procedure. ARP Speaker Brahim Bouderbala announced on April 14 the resumption of plenary sessions after Eid Al Fitr. Article 12 provides for contact between citizens and deputies during the last week of each month. The draft rules of procedure of the ARP include 171 articles spread over 13 chapters concerning, in particular, the parliamentary blocs, immunity, the structures of the Assembly and the monitoring of government action.
