Premier Panyaza Lesufi gives update on investigative reports Premier Panyaza Lesufi will tomorrow, Tuesday, 13 December 2022, give an update on investigative reports on Anglo Ashanti, Tembisa Hospital, Driving Licence Testing Centres (DLTCs), among others.

The investigations sought to uncover maladminisatration, fraud and corruption, and any other wrong-doing in the abovementioned institutions and projects.

These investigative reports form part of the provincial government’s commitment to institutionalise integrity and promote good governance, in collaboration with other institutions and agencies.

The update will include matters referred to chapter nine institutions such as the SIU, National Prosecuting Authority (NPA), and the Public Protector.

The Office of the Premier signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Special Investigating Unit (SIU) in 2018, which seeks to formalise collaboration, consultation, mutual support, and co-operation between the two institutions.
