Presidential Best Wishes for the Matric Class of 2025


Pretoria: As the National Senior Certificate (NSC) examinations commence today, President Cyril Ramaphosa has extended his best wishes to the Matric Class of 2025. In a statement preceding the start of the exams, the President emphasized that the examinations represent a critical moment for the students to excel.



According to South African Government News Agency, President Ramaphosa conveyed his confidence in the students, acknowledging their years of preparation as valuable assets to leverage during the exams. He encouraged the Class of 2025 to harness 12 years of learning and exploration, which will open new avenues for their future and contribute to the nation’s success.



The President recognized the intellectual and emotional growth of the students over the years and noted the pride and support demonstrated by their families and communities. He urged the learners to maintain perseverance and focus despite the challenges they might face in the coming weeks.



Highlighting the importance of resilience, President Ramaphosa acknowledged that stress and doubt are natural in high-pressure situations but reassured the students that they have the nation’s confidence. He expressed pride in their achievement and optimism for the future contributions of the Class of 2025.



In conjunction with the President’s message, the government also offered its well-wishes to all matriculants embarking on their examinations. Last week, Umalusi, the quality assurance body, affirmed its confidence in the readiness of the national examination system for the 2025 assessments.
