Tunis: The banking sector, in particular public-sector banks, was the subject of a meeting between Prime Minister Ahmed Hachani and the Governor of the Central Bank of Tunisia (BCT), Fethi Zouhair Nouri, at the Government Palace in the Kasbah on Tuesday. The Prime Minister and the Governor of the BCT discussed various economic and financial indicators for the first half of 2024, within the framework of the concerted efforts of the State and the coordination between the Prime Ministry and the BCT, in accordance with the statutes of the issuing institution. They also reviewed Tunisia's relations with various international financial institutions, according to a statement from the Prime Ministry.
