Tozeur: An upgrading programme of the Tozeur Training in Tourism Trades School (EFMTT) was launched. Studies intended to identify new tourism professions and the sector's needs got underway, Director of the Agency for Training in Tourism Trades (French: AFMTT) Ahmed Jmal Friday told TAP on the sidelines of a visit to the facility . The programme was proposed by the ministries of tourism and employment under a Tunisian-French partnership to boost tourism training in Tunisia. It fits within an upgrading project which targets tourism training schools in Ain Drahem, Monastir and northern Sousse with a total financing package of $15 million. The effective startup of the EFMTT ugrading programme is set for 2025. It provides for modernising infrastructure, promoting educational programmes and expanding the accommodation capacity, now standing at 180 trainees. Source: Agence Tunis Afrique Presse
