Today's publications echo the promotion of tourism in Burkina Faso through an excursion by certain members of the government on Saturday to 'the city of a thousand colors', in Pô. 'Promotion of internal tourism: When the royal court of Tiébélé opens its doors to members of the government', displays the daily Le Pays on its front page. According to the Minister in charge of Tourism, Rimtalba Jean Emmanuel Ouédraogo, the objective of this excursion is to 'Promote internal tourism by promoting our cultural identity', reports Le Pays. For the same newspaper, the visit to this UNESCO world heritage site is an opportunity for the government to 'show the responsibility that falls on everyone, to preserve and promote this label for the population of Tiébélé'. The dean of daily newspapers, L'Observateur Palgaa, informs that the particularity of this 500-year-old site is and undoubtedly remains the rare beauty of the architecture and the embellishment of the premises. According to Minister Jean Emmanuel Ouédraogo , 'The registration of this city as a UNESCO world heritage site on July 26, 2024 is a collective victory whose merit goes to the populations and the royal court of Tiébélé who knew how to preserve it until this day,' the said newspaper reports.
