Sidi Bouzid: Awareness-raising activities are continuing in the governorate of Sidi Bouzid under the project Men Committed to Equality. The project was launched by a civil society organisation, Ladies First, and financed by Expertise France, the French international technical cooperation agency. The project, put in motion in June 2023, is running over eighteen months, President of Ladies First Hayat Latif told TAP. It is designed to strengthen the principle of gender equality by embracing a new methodology premised on the positive masculinities approach. Several training sessions targeting the teaching staff, youth workers, youth centres and civil society activists had been organised, Hayat Latif further said. Digital awareness campaigns had been launched to bolster the good practices of positive masculinity and present experiences in this area. Men Committed to Equality fits within Equality Generations programme carried out with the support of the French Development Agency (AFD). Source: Agence Tunis A frique Presse
