Somali Deputy Prime Minister inspects people affected by rains in Mogadishu

Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Deputy Prime Minister of the federal government of Somalia, H.E Salah Ahmed Jama last night visited the camps where the poor people live who were affected by the heavy rains Mogadishu in the last few hours. The Deputy Prime Minister instructed the National Disaster Management Agency to immediately assist the people affected by the rain, and called on the Somali community to do their part in helping their fellow Somalis. Also, Mr. Salah visited some of the Water Works of the capital, where at that time the Banadir Regional Government was carrying out water harvesting operations, and he highlighted their important role. The inspection of the Deputy Prime Minister was accompanied by members of the Council of Ministers, the Governor of Banadir Region and the Mayor of Mogadishu and the Chief of Police.
