Kef: The quantities of grain harvested in the governorate of Kef since the start of the season have reached 56,000 quintals, shared between barley and wheat. A total of 41,000 quintals of barley and 15,000 quintals of wheat have been collected since the start of the barley harvest (May 27) and the wheat harvest (June 01), commissioner for regional agriculture Kamel Dridi told TAP. The grain harvest this season is estimated to be 'low' to 'modest' in the south of the governorate and 'good' in the north where it is expected to total between 500 and 600 thousand quintals.
