Qumbu: A suspect, Mfundo Manyike, has been arrested in connection with the possession of dagga valued at approximately R3.3 million. The arrest marks a significant development in the ongoing efforts to curtail illegal drug activities in the region.

According to South African Police Service, the 32-year-old Manyike appeared in Nelspruit Magistrate’s Court, where he was granted bail of R5000. The court proceedings took place on Friday, 12 September 2025. The case has been postponed for further investigation and is scheduled to resume on 14 October 2025.
