The Swiss Zhlke Group, a global innovation service provider which specialises in strategy and business innovation, digital solutions and applications, and device and systems engineering, has decided to set up in Tunisia, said Head of Cloud at Zhlke's Global Delivery Center in Europe Predrag Poposki at a meeting held on Wednesday with Director General of Foreign Investment Promotion Agency (FIPA Tunisia) Jalel Tebib. "In the short term, Zhlke Enginneering, which is present in ten or so countries, intends to recruit some 30 Tunisian engineers in highly specialised fields, with a view to doubling this number in the medium term," reads a FIPA press release on Thursday. "The decision to set up in Tunisia stemmed from a number of factors, such as the availability of engineering talent, strategic positioning, proximity and cultural diversity," added Poposki. Tebib, for his part, commended Poposki on his choice of Tunisia, confirming that the specific features of the Tunisian business climate and the regulatory fr amework for investment justify such a decision. The FIPA CEO also outlined FIPA-Tunisia's role in providing advice, guidance and assistance, reiterating the commitment of the agency's team to following up Zhlke's set-up in Tunisia under the best possible conditions.
