Tunis: The Technical Centre for Textiles (CETTEX) has just launched a survey to identify new services and activities to be introduced for companies in the sector to meet the new challenges of sustainability and circularity. The survey is being launched online in partnership with the German International Cooperation Agency (GIZ) and the Tunisian Textile and Clothing Federation (FTTH), CETTEX said. The textile and clothing sector accounts for 29% of industrial employment and generates 153,000 jobs. There are almost 200 integrated companies with an international presence. The exports of these companies represent 75% of the total exports of the industrial sector. Source: Agence Tunis Afrique Presse
