Three nabbed in Upington for mandrax possession

Upington: A total of 17 Mandrax tablets and dagga weighing 12kg valued at 12 000 were removed from the streets of Upington last night.

Members of Upington received information about the drugs and immediately pounced on the suspects at Louisvale.

Three suspects aged between 30 and 35 were arrested.

The Station Commander of Upington, Brig Sampi Koopman applauded the swift reaction of members.

The suspects will appear before the Upington Magistrate’s Court in Monday.
