Minister of Equipment and Housing in charge of the Transport Ministry, Sarra Zaafrani, visited, on Monday, Terminals No. 1 and No. 2 of the Tunis-Carthage International Airport. She stressed the need to increase joint efforts so as to get well prepared for the summer season and provide all favorable conditions for the successful return of Tunisians expatriates and the Omra season, reads a statement of the Transport Ministry on Monday. The minister called for providing passengers with better quality services as well as resolving the problem of flight delays and mishandled baggage. Regarding ground handling services (baggage handling, passenger registration and waiting rooms…), the minister recommended digitizing all services to achieve greater efficiency. The minister also checked the progress of works in the "Tunisair technics" complex and the various aircrafts under maintenance so as to ensure perfect passengers' safety.
