Tunis: Tunisia ranked first in the world with 60 gold medals at the International Afro-Asian Extra Virgin Olive Oil Competition, a new innovative idea by Biotech. and Process Engineer R. Chouket, organised in Abu Dhabi on June 9-11, with the participation of more than 100 companies from 14 countries. President of the "International Olive Oil Competition" group, Raouf Chouket told TAP Wednesday 47 gold medals were awarded in the quality category, 8 award winners were in the healthy category and 5 in infused oils, in addition to 3 silver medals awarded to Tunisia. According to the results of this competition, which was attended by several representatives of diplomatic missions, Spain came second, followed by Brazil, Greece and Italy.
