Tunis: Tunisian member of academia and historian Habib Jenhani, 90, passed away on Sunday. Born in Kélibia in 1934, the late Jenhani pursued his studies in Zitouna, Tunis, and the Khaldounia before leaving for France and Germany where he had obtained a PhD degree in economic and social history. He created, along with writer Taoufik Baccar, poet Salah Germadi and writer Abdelkader Zghal, several Tunisian and Arab cultural foundations, including the Union of Tunisian Writers.
