Tunis: A Tunisian ship carrying a cargo of humanitarian aid bound for Gaza left the port of Rades around 6 p.m., heading for the Port of Damietta in Egypt. "The vessel is loaded with TND 12 million worth of food and medical aid for the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip," President of the Tunisian Red Crescent Abdellatif Chabou told TAP. 'Humanitarian aid to Gaza has reached a record level thanks to the Tunisian people's efforts and support for the solidarity campaign with the Palestinian people,' he said, adding that the ship is carrying 1,609 tonnes Source: Agence Tunis Afrique Presse
