Tunis: Stade Tunisien won the capital's local derby against Esperance Sportive de Tunis 2-0 at a Tunisia's soccer League 1 Championship phase day-6 game played on Sunday afternoon at the Hedi Ennaifer stadium in Bardo . The goals came from Youssouf Oumarou in the 80th minute and Marouane Sahraoui in the 84th minute. The win, the first for the Bardo club in the Championship phase, moved Stade Tunisien level on nine points with second-placed US Monastirienne. Esperance ST, who are preparing for the CAF Champions League final against Egyptian side Ahly in two weeks' time, suffered their first defeat but remain top of the standings with a comfortable five-point lead over US Monastir, who were held to a goalless draw in the Sahel derby the day before. The final match of the day sees Club Africain take on CS Sfaxien in Rades this afternoon at 17:30.
