Tunis: Defending champions MS Bousalem lost their crown to Al Ahly of Egypt after losing the final of the African Volleyball Club Championship 3-0 (21-25, 17-25, 17-25 and 18-25) on Tuesday night in Cairo. MS Bousalem had qualified for the final after beating Prisons of Kenya 3-0 (25-15, 25-13 and 25-22) in the semi-finals in Egypt on Monday. Al Ahly had defeated Al-Nasr of Libya 3-0 (25-19, 25-18,26-24). MS Bousalem won the title in Tunisia last year after beating Zamalek 3-2 in the final. Source: Agence Tunis Afrique Presse
