CS Carthage finished third at the Volleyball Women’s African Club Championship, after defeating Algeria’s MC Algiers 3-0 (25-16, 25-14, 25-17), at a placement match Monday in Nabeul.
The Tunisians had lost at the semi-finals Friday to Kenya’s Pipeline 3-2 (25-18, 25-27, 23-25, 25-23, 9-15), while the Algerian were eliminated by Egypt’s Zamalek
3-1 (25-18, 23-25, 25-17, 25-18).
The final game will pit Zamalek against Pipeline on Monday at 5 p.m.
