123 evacuees from the conflict in Sudan arrive in Mogadishu, Garowe towns

Mogadishu (SONNA)-123 Somali evacuees who fled from the conflict in Sudan, arrived in the capital Mogadishu and Garowe, administrative capital of Puntland State today on Sunday.

78 of these citizens landed in Mogadishu while 45 others landed in Garowe and most of them were students stranded in the conflict in Sudan that left at least 500 people and others injured thousands of others Sudanese and foreigners were displaced during the war.

This is the second group of returnees to come to Somalia from Sudan. 18 Somali Nationals returned back home last Thursday.
