The Bureau of the Assembly of People's Representatives (ARP) decided at a meeting on Thursday to postpone the plenary session dedicated to examining the draft law criminalising normalisation with the Zionist entity until the specialised standing committee presents its report on the draft law supplementing the provisions of the Penal Code. This draft law aims to add a paragraph to Article 61 of the Penal Code, which prohibits any form of normalisation with the Zionist entity, according to a parliamentary press release. The postponement of the plenary session until the ARP Bureau receives the report of the relevant committee was decided in accordance with the ARP's rules of procedure, the statement added. The postponed plenary session had been scheduled for February 26. The date was announced by the ARP Bureau after its meeting on January 12. Source: Agence Tunis Afrique Presse
