WINDHOEK: Tjizake Murangi, who stands accused of killing 29-year-old Frieda Amadhila in April this year, is set to appear in the Windhoek Magistrate's Court on 19 August. The 22-year-old Murangi made his first appearance in the Windhoek Magistrate's Court on 25 April, after he was hospitalised following an alleged self-inflicted wound to the throat on 08 April. According to police investigations, the deceased was allegedly stabbed three times in the chest with a kitchen knife at her residence in Ballot Street in Windhoek. It is further alleged that the suspect, who was also Amadhila's ex-boyfriend, broke into her house, leading to an altercation. In an interview with Nampa in April, Amadhila's aunt, Connie Nepando, described the deceased as a quiet person, 'with a golden heart.' 'She is a daughter and a friend to my children and this news is very confusing for me. She was a lovely person and we can only remember her as such,' said Nepando. Source :The Namibia News Agency
