Two ships loaded with 29,400 tonnes of raw sugar and 27,509 tonnes of soft wheat docked at the commercial port of Bizerte at dawn on Monday, according to a regional official. The ship from Brazil carrying the raw sugar was ordered by Tunisia's Trade Board (OCT), the same source told TAP, noting that the shipment would first be sent to the Tunisian Sugar Company in Beja for refining. The cargo of soft wheat will be sent to the warehouses of the Grain Board, said the same source, pointing out that another ship loaded with 12,800 tonnes of durum wheat, commissioned by a private company, had arrived at the port of Bizerte at the end of last week.
