Businessman Ridha Charfeddine will appear before the 6th chamber of the Tunis Court of First Instance on Thursday on financial and customs charges, defence lawyer Jamel Hadji announced. Hadji said in a statement on Monday that the prosecutor of the judicial economic and financial division issued a detention warrant for Charfeddine on January 2. He was subsequently referred to the court's 6th chamber. A court hearing has been scheduled for January 25, Hadji added. Source: Agence Tunis Afrique Presse
