Tunis: The National Heritage Institute (French: INP) is hosting next March 27 the Café of Freelance Content Creators. This is an event organised by the Tunis International Centre for Digital Cultural Economy and Uprod'it - The Tunisian Freelancers and Professionals Network in collaboration with the Tunisian Freelancers COOP, the first cooperative of freelancers in Tunisia. The purpose is to share experiences, discuss challenges and best practices for freelancing. The status of content creation freelancers in Tunisia, access to markets and the management of copyrights will also take centre stage. The creative economy has seen a rapid growth over the recent years in Africa in spite of a limited support capacity and the fact the bulk of cultural industry production is informal, it emerges from a report released by the Tunisian Freelancers COOP in 2019..
