Kef: All members of the Regional Council stand for election to National Council of Regions and Districts

Kef: All the members of the regional council of the Kef governorate have presented their candidature for the elections to the National Council of Regions and Districts, Omar Yacoubi, president of the independent regional authority for elections (IRIE) in Kef, told TAP on Saturday. He pointed out that all 12 members of the regional council had put themselves forward for this election, which will see three of them elected to the National Council of Regions and Districts, the second chamber of parliament, which is responsible for controlling the state budget and development planning, among other prerogatives.
