Spain coach Luis de la Fuente has called Osasuna winger Bryan Zaragoza and Girona's Bryan Gil into his squad for the forthcoming UEFA Nations League games against Denmark and Serbia. De la Fuente has been forced into changes to the original squad he named on Friday after Barcelona forward, Ferran Torres pulled up with a hamstring injury during his side's 3-0 win away to Alaves on Sunday. Real Madrid defender Dani Carvajal, who was already suspended for the Denmark game, has also dropped out of the squad after suffering a season-ending knee ligament injury against Villarreal on Saturday. Meanwhile, Athletic Bilbao's Nico Williams is a doubt after a back injury kept him out of action this weekend. The Spain coach has resisted calling up another defender, so it looks as if Tottenham's Pedro Porro will have the chance to cement his place in the team. Following his Spain debut in 2021, Bryan Gil made four appearances with Luis Enrique as coach, while Zaragoza made his only appearance to date in a 2-0 defeat t o Scotland in October 2023, but has been in excellent form with Osasuna this season.
