Interior Minister Kamel Feki met Tuesday with Director General of the Civil Defence of Algeria Boualem Boughlef. The two officials focused on cooperation relations and ways to foster them. The talk discussed the possibility of updating the cooperation agreement inked in 1985 to bring it in line with changes in legislation of both countries and modern working methods, reads a ministry press release. The 1985 agreement provides for cooperation and mutual assistance in civil protection. The talk takes place as part of Boughlef's participation in works of the civil protection cooperation commission held Janaury 23-24 in Tabarka. Source: Agence Tunis Afrique Presse
