Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad, Nabil Ammar, met on Monday with his Algerian counterpart, Ahmed Attaf, on the sidelines of his participation, as part of the official Tunisian delegation, in the Italy-Africa summit held in Rome on January 28 and 29. The two sides reiterated their support for the Palestinian people until they regain their legitimate rights. They discussed a number of regional and international issues of mutual interest, including those related to strengthening the paths of development and peace on the African continent and stepping up efforts to reduce the impact of irregular migration and the importance of finding effective solutions to address this phenomenon. The meeting also provided an opportunity to reaffirm the depth and strength of the historical ties that bind the two countries, and to identify ways to support and strengthen them in various fields, in line with the aspirations of the two peoples for greater integration and strategic partnership.
