The Prosecutor's Office ordered an investigation into the causes of the fire which broke out, Thursday, in the Henna Souk of Jara (Governorate of Gabès), Public Prosecutor at the Court of First Instance in Gabès, Faouzi Dorgham told TAP on Friday. The flames ravaged 10 stalls in the market and partially damaged 4 other shops without causing any human losses, the same source said, adding that the fire extinguishing operations lasted for 3 hours. The Prosecutor's Office authorized an investigation against anyone implicated in arson, under the provisions of chapter 308 of the Penal Code. The case was deferred to the first investigating judge who issued a court order to the Gabès-ville judicial police brigade to carry out the necessary measures. Source: Agence Tunis Afrique Presse
