The Tunisian Navigation Company (CTN) released its programme for the 2024 Summer at the Commercial Port of Zarzis (Médenine Governorate). It scheduled 9 passenger crossings for Tunisians living abroad, Port Director Anis Zenad told TAP on Friday. The nine scheduled trips are as follows: three Zarzis-Marseille crossings, five crossings from Marseille to Zarzis and another Genoa (Italy)-Zarzis trip, Zenad said. The first trip of 2024 will be to the Commercial Port of Zarzis, in the morning of June 15, after departure from the Port of Marseille on June 13, 2024, while the date of the maiden voyage from the port of Zarzis was set for August 8, 2024, according to the same source. The infrastructure of the Commercial Port of Zarzis was upgraded over the years which has had a positive impact on the transit of passengers whose number has increased from 3,101 travelers in 2017 to 11,500 travelers in the summer of 2023.
