The government's unresponsiveness to the UGTT's rally held on March 2 in the Kasbah, shows a will to subjugate the trade union organization," said Thursday, Deputy Secretary General of the Tunisian General Labor Union (UGTT) Sami Tahri. Speaking to TAP on the sidelines of the UGTT national administrative body held in Hammamet to evaluate the results of the rally of March 2, Tahri insisted on the independence of the union organization. He stressed that the administrative body will make the appropriate decisions after evaluating the last rally. Trade unionists at the regional and national levels called for holding the social dialogue and implementing the agreements signed with the government, he pointed out.
